About Morton Transition Center

The Morton Transition Center provides adult transition services for young adults ages 18–21 with cognitive disabilities and/or autism. The program focuses on individualized transition goals and priorities while helping students further develop independent living, social communication, vocational, and recreational skills.

The Morton Transition Center works closely with families, community partners, and outside agencies, including the Department of Human Services, Division of Rehabilitation Services, local transportation agencies, and community businesses. Through these partnerships, students have opportunities to build skills, explore vocational pathways, increase independence, and prepare for life beyond high school.
